The Community Safety Partnership Strategy

We are very proud to present the work we have recently done for the Reading Community Safety Partnership.

A Starting Point Studio project, as part of our Alternative Provison for schools, we were asked to create the branding for the Reading Community Safety Partnership (CSP). Working with the young poeple, we created a logo that also referenced the Safer Streets initiative logo, but we highlighted the words IN COMMUNITY in the colour/layout.

Some of the logo design process and workings.

We were also asked to create a version of their three year strategy document. Young people gave their thoughts and findings on the proposals and comments, and have been revealing what it is like growing up in Reading today. How safe do the young people feel in and around Reading and what other thoughts do they have on crime and behaviour in their area?

The group took photos while out and about in Reading, and created geometric patterns and illustrations, to be part of the design. We also filmed various young people and these videos are available linked in the strategy document, or standalone below.

We were pleased to be involved in this project, and working alongside the other partner organisations:
Brighter Futures for Children | No.5 | Reading FC Community Trust | Reading Borough Council
